The research project deals with improving the simulation of faulted and fractured reservoirs. It is financed by an industry consortium which consists of important E&P companies including ConocoPhilips, Total, ExxonMobil and OMV.

This project will establish a strong sense of co-operation between the School of Petroleum Engineering Leoben, and the Petroleum Engineering Departments of Heriot Watt University and Imperial College London.
