The need to develop more strategically extends across the entire range of petroleum activities.  Both the industry and the university recognize the need to work with other centers of academic excellence to find and develop coherent global solutions for the training needs of the industry.  Due to rapid industry advancement, one of the main goals of these relationships is to project the need for continuing education even after completing a degree.   Some companies already expect and demand continuous individual advancement and the rest of the industry related companies will follow suit in the near future.
