First week:

Monday

            9.00-10.00: Introduction to Course

            10.00-16.00: Introduction to Drilling Engineering

Tuesday

            9.00-12.00: Drilling Processes

            13.30-16.00: Machine Elements

Wednesday

            9.00-16.00: Machine Elements

Thursday to Friday

9.00-16.00: Rig Components; pumps draw works, rotary table, top drive, etc.  and introduction into the  project work, rig specifications, and requirements.

 

Second week:

Monday till Thursday

            9.00-12.00: Fundamentals of Automation

            13.30-16.00: Design Work, design of individual ma  chine components

Friday

            9.00-12.00: Finite State Machines

            13.30-16.00: Presentations of Project Design Status by each team

 

Third week:

Monday and Tuesday

            9.00-12.00: Digital Control of Dynamic Systems

            13.30-16.00: Design Work for machine components

Wednesday and Thursday

            9.00-16.00: Design Work for machine components

Friday

            9.00-16.00: Presentations of Final projects
